Kites In Lightning is a group of Americana / Indie Folk / Bluegrass / Mountain Rock musicians that have recently 'discovered electricity'.  

There are still acoustic guitars, mandolins, and banjos in the band, but KIL has added electric guitars, synthesizers, more effects and drums to amp up the energy when its needed.  Live shows range from sweet indie folk melodies to high octane indie rock with elements of live looping and synchronized video or lights.
