Mike Finders

A natural storyteller and educator, Mike is a two-time Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at Merlefest Award-winning singer, guitarist, and frontman for FY5 (progressive bluegrass) and Spidercat (groove blues rock).  He performs songs from his vast catalogue of original songs, letting folks in on the stories that inspired them.  In recent months, Mike has been performing new songs around his home in Fort Collins, including showcases at Songwriters in the Round at the Magic Rat (hosted by Liz Barnez), and as an artist-in-residence at Wolverine Farms.  His sounds are based in bluegrass, country, folk and blues music.
