Alana Mars

Alana Mars, born Alana Margolis, is an indie alt-pop musician located in Denver, CO. She has been performing and writing music for over a decade. Her music is heavily inspired by the rock and roll she grew up on and the pop stars she's fallen in love with. Her songwriting is influenced by artists such as Lana Del Rey, Phoebe Bridgers, and Stevie Nicks.

Her career as a musician began when she collaborated with college classmates, Katie Thurston and Megan Ellsworth, to form the folk-inspired singer/songwriter trio, "Sister Neapolitan." After years of touring, hundreds of shows, the release of several singles, and an incredible album, the group decided to part ways to explore their own avenues for their careers.

Currently, Alana is sharing her music all across the United States, performing with her band, "The Martians." Consisting of drummer: Nick Lyon, bassist: Stevenson Sakalian, and supporting vocalist: Katie Thurston, the band is taking strides to make the most out of their blossoming careers and to make their mark on the music industry.Â
