Jade S.

Jade S. (sometimes known as Kase) is a Vocaloid cover artist, singer, string player, costumer, drag performer, dual-wielding light whipper, and otherwise multifaceted individual. Jade started using Vocaloid in December 2013, when she managed to scrounge up $150 for Kaito V3 at twelve years old. He eventually gained more traction from his use of Gackpoid V3 starting in 2014, and made his first singing debut on his channel in early 2016. It wasn't until late 2016, when Fukase V4 was added to her arsenal, that her channel started to take off. His first cover using Fukase V4 was his first to break 100K views. In 2018, she published her first cover to reach one million views: Lost One's Weeping by Neru. His covers - particularly the ones featuring Fukase V4 - continue to grow in popularity as well as complexity. Her most recent cover of Porter Robinson's "Sad Machine" utilizes synth as well as voice, viola, and light whipping. Since the beginning, Jade has taken pride in making cover videos from scratch. One can consistently expect detailed tuning tailored for the specific synth, unique digital illustrations (and more recently, animation), and self-taught English translations to Japanese songs from a Jade S. video.
