We are always looking for ways to minimize our impact and so this year we are offering a digital schedule and program guide. The majority of the venues/stages are conveniently located within walking distance of each other, and bicycles and mass transit options are encouraged. The participating venues, FoCoMA and the City of Fort Collins support recycling and we encourage you to pitch in!

The Colorado Music Directory is a resource that allows the public to discover local musical talent and bands, as well as reach out to book artists for performances. If you'd like to create an artist profile, you can do so here. Login and then hit "create artist listing" and save. While submissions are open, creating an artist listing will automatically submit you for FoCoMX.

Please come about 30 minutes IN ADVANCE of your shift start time. At this time you will check in for your shift, possibly grab the venue tub for your shift, and get your wristband.

Also, if you are volunteering Saturday but want to see bands on Friday, you will come to VHQ on Friday to get your wristband early. If this is the case, you must leave a $40 deposit which you can get back from us on Saturday.

Sign up here: Volunteer | FoCoMA. Click "Create Volunteer Account," enter your email, fill out the "I'm not a robot" captcha, and click Create New Account. You will get a login link in your email. Click it, and you'll be redirected to filling out your volunteer profile (phone number, shirt size, etc.).

Once this is complete, you'll be able to see and sign up for available individual shifts. You should get an immediate email confirmation of your sign-up attempt.  Some shifts become yours right away, some require supervisor approval.... For approval-required shifts, we'll email you, usually within a couple of days. Then we'll plan on seeing you at one of the training sessions (April 6th or 14th in 2024).

For volunteers with a Saturday shift who want to see music Friday, we require a $40 deposit on Friday when you pick your wristband up at Volunteer Headquarters. When you check in on Saturday, your cash deposit will be returned to you.

2024 Trainings - (one is required)

FoCoMA would like to thank Elevations Credit Union in Downtown Fort Collins for letting us use their spaces this year for our Volunteer and Festival Headquarters and Will Call/Ticket Box Office.

Training and Volunteer HQ are at Elevations Credit Union, 221 E. Mountain Ave. just east of College Ave. Volunteers will use the separate double doors to the west of the lobby door to get upstairs to the Elevations Community Room. If you want to volunteer and you cannot make either date, we may have the capacity to figure out an alternate time with a handful of people, but please do your best to make one of the above dates.

Artists

If you need to make a change to your FoCoMX submission or your Colorado Music Directory listing, login here and click update listing.

If you still need any help contact us.

Submissions are currently closed for FoCoMX 2024. You can add your band to our Colorado Artist Directory here but you will not be automatically submitted for the festival. Bands who are selected will be notified in late Feb/early March.

Submissions will reopen in November of 2024. Thank you!

Each band member get a "plus one" wristband for performing at the festival that you are free to give to whoever you like. Beyond that, your fans can volunteer, we are looking to fill close to 300 volunteer positions and this is a great chance to buy a ticket and help support you and the local music scene.

Please know that if your band was not selected this year you are still a very much valued member of our music community. We received many more applications than there are spots for artists.

We would love for you to come out and experience the festival. We will provide a code for discounted tickets for you to attend if you'd like to do so.  Please email us at [email protected]

We hope you will join us for our other year-round events including Music Industry Night and look forward to connecting with you down the line.
