Black & White Motion Picture
Overdrive and reverb streaked across a sonic canvas, accentuated broad strokes painted loosely with distortion and unique time signatures. Interlocking guitar parts and overlapping vocals create a sense that you're somehow familiar with this piece, that you've lived here before. Black & White Motion Picture crafts an impressionistic indie landscape of sound, swirled with The Beatle's aeolian cadences and blended with Interpol's rhythmic drive.
Born from the ashes of The Strokes and The White Stripes and forged through years of shows, Black & White Motion Picture was formed in Denver in 2018 when a some former co-workers got together to make waves. Black & White Motion Picture has since evolved into one of Denver's emerging live acts.
The 5 piece ensemble consists of singer/guitarist Josh Eherenmen, singer/bassist Rorie Martin, rhythm guitarist Cory Nagle, niche guitarist Tony Greco, and drummer Connor Gibson. Black & White Motion Picture's diverse musical background create a unique chemistry that keeps listeners coming back for more. From their unforgettable live performances to their studio recordings, the band pushes musical boundaries in an attempt to capture hearts and minds.
Currently, Black & White Motion Picture is working on new recordings, preparing for an album release later in 2025. Fans can expect even more of the energy and technicality that has become the band’s trademark. Eager to share their new music with larger audiences, Black & White Motion Picture aim to bring their vibrant and engaging live shows to larger stages, spreading their magnetic energy and music to audiences far and wide
