Dominick Antonelli

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and began playing guitar at the age of 12. I was introduced to alternate tunings at age 16 and found that was a much simpler way to explore and create without having knowledge of theory. I did not have the patience nor will power to sit down and study, yet a curiosity within has allowed me to find a sound that feels right for me. Playing guitar has been, and still is, a form of therapy for myself. It allows me to enter into a space of timelessness, where I connect to a version of life that I have yet to find anywhere else. I spent years traveling around the U.S. and a few other countries, taking my experiences of self inquiry and expressing them through music. I play a mix of instrumental and vocal pieces that have been inspired by my travels, meditation, and contemplative moments in my life. I am looking forward to stepping into my potential and sharing the music that comes through me with more people and believing more wholeheartedly that I have a gift to share.
