trash.

Hailing from all over Colorado, trash. is a four-piece alternative rock band that refuses to let emo die. Over the last 6 years, trash. has self-produced two EPs and eleven music videos. For their most recent releases,  they traded in their DIY recording style for the polished—but still very punk rock—recordings of Andrew Berlin at The Blasting Room Studios. They have landed a spot in the top 10 for channel 93.3's (Denver’s Modern Rock Channel) Hometown for the Holidays for two consecutive years. As well as being a featured artist for Indie 102.3.

Strongly influenced by 2000's Emo, 90's alternative, and 70's punk, trash.’s sound intricately weaves together soaring guitar tones from Michael Oliver, with the remarkably tight rhythm section that is Sam Rucker (bass) and Jordan Bettner (drums). But don’t let the heavy tones fool you, lyrically trash. confronts emotionally tender topics in an honest and melodic manner. Lead vocalist, Jack (Kayleigh Gustkey), has been influenced from a wide variety of singers ranging from iconic rock performers, to the most technical pop singers. This blending of raw emotion and technical skill makes for an energetic performance with punch and personality. With their powers combined, trash. provides a modern pulse on rock music.
