Merekai

Merekai was created in February 2022 comprised of Four members Sarah(Vocals), Colby(Guitar), Brenden(Drums), and Donovan(Bass/Guitar). As a band we chose to consider our genre to be what we like to call “Diet Metal” a cross between metalcore and alternative rock. Having a female fronted vocalist and primary clean singing with minimal amount of scream style vocals from the rest of the members and heavy riffs to keep you on your toes. So far Merekai has had the pleasure of playing our first show as our own headliner at Illegal Pete’s, while also having the pleasure of playing “More Carnage 2” hosted by Blast N Scrap at The Lyric cinema showcasing 12 Colorado bands. Merekai will be hitting the studio to record our first ever EP in March 2023. Release is TBD and will be available on all streaming platforms in 2023.
