Dijon Mustang

Dijon Mustang….. buckle in…. With the tasty masterful flow that comes from Gabe Masry on Lead Guitar, and the vocal prowess and rhythmic compliments from Patrick Dorion, you are in for a fun ride at a Dijon Mustang show. While flavor of some of the influences that this band draws from stems from the Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, and other elaborative pioneers, their diversity also includes other directions and moods from acts like Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Tool, and Led Zeppelin. The original work from Dijon Mustang and the collaboration of Gabe and Patrick, along with a stout rhythm section of Spencer Cabala on bass, and Ej Wasik on drums, is some of the most creative and well presented music you will hear. Gabe, and Patrick have been collaborating since working together back in 2013. When Spencer joined the band, adding wonderfully unique song writing, a third vocalist, and the most melodic and funky bass around, they knew they had a worthy project to work with. The band was completed by Ej Wasik, who had previously toured with The Current, and Underground Orchestra, from Los Angeles, California. Ej and Gabe met in a swim up bar in Cancun, both celebrating their birthdays, and upon realizing that not only were they the same exact age, but lived in the same city 2700 miles away, had the same musical influences, and were accomplished musicians………. They had to give it a go, and Dijon Mustang was formed. The Denver Colorado based band seeks to release it’s first album in 2020, and is focused on presenting shows that will give people reason to start paying attention…..
