Bleak Mystique

Bleak Mystique was formed in Denver, Colorado in 2021 by Sam Shapiro and Aidan Hutchings, who met while attending the University of Denver. After their first year, Mitch Segura joined the band to play rhythm guitar and keyboard. With this addition to the lineup, the band's sound and style began to shift from alternative rock and punk, to baroque-indie rock. The band has played many notable venues throughout Colorado, and began touring the Southwestern US in 2023. Some of their favorite shows include a sold-out night at Globe Hall in Denver supporting The Academic, the Fox Theater in Boulder supporting The Stews, and The Coast in Fort Collins supporting Deeper. They have also released 10 singles, and 2 EPs, with many more releases coming in 2024.
