Jon Rubio

Jon Rubio is a very unique artist who has strong influences of traditional music from Mexico, he loves experimenting with modern sounds and his passion for hip hop, creating a tasty blend between organic and traditional sounds backed by powerful hip hop and trap tracks. He also produces music for other artists as well as plays in the Denver Colorado Latino Band “Los Mocochetes”. He is multifaceted and utilizes all his skills to create the unique sound you hear when you listen to his music. Jon Rubio has been featured in Westword Magazine, 303 Magazine, has a live segment interview on Channel 9 News Denver and has been featured on various local radio stations such as KGNU, Colorado Alternative 93.3, and Indie 102.3. He’s performed for Indie 1023’s “Local 303 Meet Up” as their artist of the month for Latino Heritage month (September 2023) and was handpicked by the community to perform for the 2023 Denver Fashion Show.
