Bears With Eagle Arms

We are Bears With Eagle Arms, a 5-piece freak folk band from Denver, in the vein of TMBG or MGMT. We have been playing shows in Denver since 2014 but this year we broke new ground by playing UMS, being featured on the podcast Welcome To Night Vale, and passing 20k Spotify streams.

This year we released Locked Up. Locked Up is a concept piece about parasocial relationships. What was once directed at celebrities is now an everyday occurrence for everyone on social media. As Covid drove us inside, the effect became much more intense. Over these 8 tracks, we explore different manifestations and coping strategies used on both sides of parasocial relationships.
