ANODYNE

Anodyne is the distillation of several previous bands that did mostly cover songs.  As time went on, the cover songs were replaced with originals.  The songs are mostly written about Colorado related themes such as floods, fires, ghosts, mines and river rafting.  We are geared toward a pretty diverse crowd of people from ages 1 to 90.  We  play at a comfortable volume.  Our influences range from the Beatles to Ween.  After a complete collapse during the pandemic, we have been gradually building our chops and reputation back up by playing open mics and places that encourage original music.  We are a weekly staple at the Panhandler's Tuesday night open mic and we have also played several local breweries.  People remember us mostly for our use of a digital horn, aka "plastic sax", and our catchy originals.
