Nine Wide Sky

Nine Wide Sky is a Boulder-based Alternative Pop duo consisting of Beau and Andy, both multi-instrumentalists. They share a love of 80's pop, 90's rock, and whatever "just sounds cool".

Beau and Andy were introduced in the 90’s while playing in various bands around the Boulder area but didn't collaborate until years later when they were fortuitously reconnected. Beau had some song ideas but no singer. Andy had a collection of riffs and melodies but no drummer. As an experiment, the duo swapped scratch recordings, then overdubbed their parts over the other's original idea. The two first songs to emerge were "Universe" and "Time is Broken".

Nine Wide Sky debuted at Roots Music Project in July of 2023.
