Celestial Boogie

Celestial Boogie has been described as Beatnik/Punk with a touch of psychedelic. Founding members AL Loves EL are songwriters focused on Environmental Activism, Harmonic Unity and Goodtime Dance music. EL (Elizabeth Hudetz) as a solo artist opened for national acts Hot Tuna, Leon Russell, Leo Kottke and Firefall before getting her music degree at CSU. Accomplished on  both guitar and bass, she loves finding the groove that gets people dancing.  Al Haeger, one of Ft Collins' Art In Public Places artists, has played with numerous bands in California and Colorado, and is equally comfortable on guitar and mandolin. Steve Amedee was a founding member of Nationally acclaimed The Subdudes and is well known throughout Colorado for his diverse talents. Mer Sal is a multi-stylist experimental vocalist with a background in jazz, blues, and pop, recording first with The Symbols and currently with The Scott Kinsey group in LA. Heather Stanley rounds out Celestial Boogie with her warm back-up vocal harmonies. AL Loves EL are "resident musicians" at Avogadro's Number in Ft Collins. They have a regular gig on the 3rd Thursday of every month playing original music mixed with a broad spectrum of covers.
