Meliora

Meliora began in 2017, when Denver music veterans Mickey Postilion, Elias Armao, Malena Roberts, and Ben Norton started playing together in search of a new spin on the indie-rock/post-punk sounds they had been chasing in other bands. Mickey and Ben’s passion for bombastic guitar lines is tempered by driving grooves and strong pop sensibilities from Elias and Malena, giving the act a large breadth of dynamics to exploit. The band released their first full length LP “Everything’s Amazing Nobody’s Happy” in late 2018. Lady Cactus Media praised the album as “beautifully anthemic” with “wonderfully melodic guitars and intricate supporting rhythms,” adding, “From the very first song, Postilion’s heavy-hitting lyricism is present and impactful.”
