Ren Elizabeth

Growing up, Ren was immersed in a community of musicians and artists at her family’s bar in northern Colorado. Some of her earliest influences were world-class blues and jazz musicians who performed there and invited her to join them onstage. Ren has since developed her own unique sound with intricate guitar picking and soulful vocal melodies influenced by blues, Americana and folk styles. Drawing from western myths and her own family’s colorful history, she crafts stories of characters battling guilt, temptation, and personal demons. When not focusing on music, Ren moonlights as a mountain guide and backpacking instructor in the Rocky Mountains.
