5-Foot Betty

5-Foot Betty is an Americana trio playing jazzy country-bluegrass fueled by high-energy musicianship and chosen family vibes. The Betties turn modern life’s joys and challenges into songs you want to hear again — and sing along to.

Their signature sonic blend of fiddle, guitar, upright bass, and three-part vocal harmonies charms audiences of all ages. From jazz-infused country waltzes to witty, laugh-out-loud grassy songs about second chances, 5-Foot Betty’s music engages the ear, warms the soul, and tickles the funny bone — often in the same verse.

Named in honor of groundbreaking 1960s banjo player Betty Amos and founded by 4’10” fiddler Sharon Glassman, the band has performed at the RockyGrass Band Competition and won the first-ever Denver Bluegrass Conference band competition.
