Brief Band Bio: Polysanto

 

 

Born in the Mile High City, Polysanto is a 4 piece band creating their own form of progressive funk rock. Although the group can delivery precise, punchy, catchy minute studio tracks, regularly any given song could end up being twenty minutes or longer with improvisation and ever changing setlists as a staple for all live shows. Even prior to releasing their first single, the band has been able to perform at dozens of venues and a few festivals around Colorado including multiple shows at Cervantes' Other Side, Lost Lake Lounge, a main stage cameo and late night set at Meadowgrass Music Festival, and already has several dates booked for 2026. With the recent completion of recording their first studio album titled The First Santo, the band will be releasing their first record midway through 2026. Before any studio releases, the band will be releasing a near 18 minute debut single called "Cruisin'" from one of the group's shows at The Other Side in January, 2026.  Prominent influences for the band include Led Zeppelin, Lotus, Tame Impala, the Grateful Dead, Mac Miller, Phish, and Steely Dan.
