Entropist

Our name is Entropist! We are a 5-piece progressive metal band from right here in Denver. We have all known each other for over a decade and we have bonded over our love for music, particularly metal. During the COVID pandemic, we all came together and started writing our first album. Some bands that have heavily influenced our sound consist of Between the Buried and Me, Meshuggah, Periphery, Opeth, The Contortionist, Humanity’s Last Breath. Our first album is a concept album which blends technical, melodic rhythms with crushing breakdowns and occasional groovy, jazz-flavored sections. The album has been fully written and learned, and we have started recording as of Nov 2024. We all grew up near Denver and have a great group of family and friends in the area who show us tremendous support. We have attended a few Foco MX events in the past as fans, and now we are hoping to get on the bill and be able to contribute to this awesome festival.
