Mer Sal

Mer Sal has contributed her unique vocal qualities to recordings and gigs with giants, working across diverse projects and genres.
Mer Sal has notably written and released a viral fusion pop album full of special musicians ranging from Scott Henderson to Jimmy Haslip, Pedro Martins to Danny Carey – produced by the Tribal Tech jazz synth kingpin Scott Kinsey, called "Adjustments."
Her sets can be a mixture of authentic soul, funk, and blues, when playing with a band- with some of the most relevant fusion artists today! Her solo/duo sets are more introspective, showcasing more of her works in a less glorified, stripped down, emotional and personal fashion.
Mer has been compared to other rising singers of the major fusion, jazz, neo-soul, and blues world, with reviews and interviews in Jazz Times, Jazz Is, Bass Player, and she has also been featured on the cover of Fort Collins’ own Scene Magazine. What makes Mer’s voice distinct are the worn and experienced parts of her voice and soul, and the raw emotional songs she puts out.
