The Malignant Narcissists

We’re The Malignant Narcissists. The band consists of Ben (guitars & vocals), George (bass) Dale (drums), and Lucas (Guitars). The Malignant Narcissists formed in 2020 after an extended hiatus for Ben. We love the sound of raw, distorted guitars, but also love amazing melodies, and that’s what we try to achieve with every song that we write. Ben was inspired to learn to play the guitar by watching the many local bands in Boston, where he grew up. He’d come home late from those shows and practice his guitar along to the songs he heard into the early morning hours. We were blown away by the genius of Billy Joe Armstrong, when we saw Green Day play In Denver in the summer of 2024. When 50,000 people sing along (and know most of the words) to over 40 songs you know you’re doing something right. That's the kind of music we try to write. Catchy, melodic songs that are structurally interesting, get your attention and hold it for a long time. Our latest EP (which dropped 12/9/24) is called Stopping Time. The title track is a love letter to one of my dogs, and is on the EP in both full-band and acoustic versions. An Aberration In Time is about this tricky time we're living in (geopolitically) , and The Others is about how disconnected we've become as a society.
