Dime Store Riot
Based out of Tulsa, OK, Dime Store Riot was formed in 2023, by members of other known and established Rock and Hard Rock bands in the Tulsa music scene. They are a four-piece, all-original music, Rock band, that offers a Modern take and vibe inspired and fueled by the power and energy of Rock’s heydays. Larger-than-life personalities round out this powerhouse band and all who come to the live shows experience a high-energy performance, with soaring vocals, guitar flash and glitter, and all the boom and swagger from a thundering rhythm section. With just over a year of momentum under their belt now, Dime Store Riot may leave you wanting more, but will never leave you disappointed!
Right away, upon the release of the first single “Coldest Winter” (May 2023), and the announcement of the band’s debut performance (June 10, 2023), the offers for national tour support spots began to open and Dime Store Riot was and has been called upon time after time for Rock shows touring through the region. Ranging from supporting alternative bands to heavier genres, Dime Store Riot has become the “go-to” live band and has played before and provided direct support to such acts as: Alien Ant Farm, Josey Scott (the Original Voice of Saliva), Lacuna Coil, Fear Factory, Faster Pussycat, Texas Hippie Coalition, Lions at the Gate, Enuff Z’Nuff, Vixen, Mike Tramp’s White Lion, The Iron Maidens, etc., just to list a few. Additionally, Dime Store Riot was invited to appear on the 2023 Rocklahoma Festival lineup (an AEG festival) - a 3-day festival in Pryor Oklahoma that welcomed 60,000+ attendees in 2023, and the band returned to the festival for Rocklahoma 2024 (DW Presents festival) in September 2024, which saw upwards of 75,000 attend this year! Fresh off a 10-date South West Rising Stars tour across 7 states (AR, MO, IL, OK, KS, TX, CO) that paired some of the region’s best and up-and-coming talent, along with several major tours supported over the summer/fall, and the band’s own CD release party for their first full length album, Dime Store Riot is riding a lot of momentum as it closes 2024 with a bang and heads into 2025!
