With a sound that reminds listeners of all their favorite Warped Tour bands at once, Denver’s Sorry Sweetheart manages to seamlessly shift between a myriad of styles and moods.The brainchild of Denver ska veterans Leslie Hackworth and Zach Barker, Sorry Sweetheart has been holding down the ska punk scene in their city and dropping music since 2017. While rooted firmly in ska, Sorry Sweetheart continues to experiment with what kind of sounds they can add to the genre’s zeitgeist by effortlessly weaving modern production, nostalgic pop punk catchiness, latin rhythm, and slamming metacore into the mix. With a relentless attitude against inactivity, Sorry Sweetheart Is working on self producing their first full length record while dropping vaulted singles along the way to keep their fan base fed. Accompanying the teaser releases and studio sessions Sorry Sweetheart has been joining the national ska circuit, appearing as support for most large national acts coming through Denver including names like Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Save Ferris and many others, as well as playing ska festivals and headlining their own small tours.
