Summer of Peril is a four piece alternative rock/ shoegaze band based in Fort Collins & Denver. Initially started as a solo passion project for songwriter Alex Forbes in 2022, the band as a whole formed out of the Colorado hardcore and DIY music scenes in 2023. Their sound is characterized by distorted guitars, reverb filled vocals, and introspective lyrics. While never sticking to simply one genre, Summer of Peril’s sound can range from shoegaze to grunge and post-hardcore.
