The Bright Collide

The Bright Collide is the brainchild of Brian Maier, which he originally intended to be a solo project, but it has now become a full three-piece band. After his old band disbanded, he was with left a big catalog of songs and ideas and “Colorful Wishes” turned out to be the debut single of The Bright Collide. Brian was going to play all the instruments himself, but his great friend Matt Petersen offered and wanted to play drums on the track. After showing the song to multiple people, a wonderful friend and multi-instrumentalist, Daniel Robbins, offered to play bass moving forward. The second single "The Hours" was released in Dec 2024. The band has already received rave reviews from national outlets such as Indie Band Guru and The Big Take Over Magazine. 

The Bright Collide has been described as "Northern Colorado’s Newest Gem" - The B-Side Guys Music Podcast and Blog (Denver, CO). This past year they played a few packed out shows at Surfside and released their third single "The Quiet" (Dec 18th 2025). This new year is looking great with more recording and booked shows supporting touring bands coming through Fort Collins.
