HOWRU? is an Emo Rock band hailing from Denver, Colorado. Starting from the instrumental demos by Tanner Vaughn Stephen, the band is on a mission to put a positive spin on the dark-brooding genre. They have played many gigs across Colorado and always bring a good crowd with high energy, performing a good mix of popular covers from the genre and energetic/uplifting original music. The group considers their sound a mix between bands like Papa Roach, My Chemical Romance, Rise Against, and Bring Me the Horizon. While focusing on bringing a positive message to the forefront, the band also wishes to provide a universal appeal regarding their accessibility.
