Stereo Transmission
From the driving opening bass line of “Bad Boys” to the aggressive free-spirited drumming on “Red Dress” or the unabashed lyrical presence of “No Sleep”, it’s clear that Stereo Transmission has crafted a debut EP without any inhibitions to do and say what they want.
Sometimes tender and sometimes soaked in unabashed anger, the songs have one thing in common: they tear the fucking roof off with grinding rhythms that have the crowd in constant movement and singing along in ecclesiastic fervor.
There arent any tricks or BS here. Stereo Transmission is a simple three piece band delivering raw unfiltered rock that translates to a very large and refreshing sound in today’s music market.
The answer to how this EP came together and sounds the way it does likely is found in the unique way in which it was created. Graham, Kieth and Noah all met deep in the Colorado mountains, away from civilization writ-large and any sense of duty to trends in modern music.
Holed up in a cabin with no wifi, surrounded by snow drifts, the three members brought a diverse background of experience that effortlessly layered together.
Keith plays drums like a wild animal in a way that’s hard to take your eyes off when they hit the stage. Noah brings lyrics written from a deep emotional well and sings them with a screaming tenor that floats through the room with angst and clarity. Graham lays down a bass line that is maybe the best glue to these to differing parts since Elmer’s. Playing off the Keiths rhythms and Noah’s screaming guitar melodies, Grahams bass lines have you bouncing from ass shaking dance to head bashing trance.
Stereo Transmission is looking forward to touring this EP and a string of new unreleased songs.
