The Rewrite

The Rewrite is an indie/folk band made up of three friends with a shared passion for music and storytelling. Robby Holmes (vocals, guitar), Sarah Yepishin (vocals, keys), and Pete Chambers (drums, keys, synth) have been making music individually since their teens, but it wasn't until a year ago that they came together to create The Rewrite.

While working on original music, The Rewrite has released new arrangements of familiar songs recast with a rootsy, organic sound. They select music that explores the depths of what it means to be human, bringing a fresh interpretation by stripping songs down to their acoustic core or building them up with layers of vocals and instrumentation.

Though a relatively new band, The Rewrite has 7 music videos released and over 15,000 streams. As friends first and musicians second, it’s important to them that serious music is also a seriously good time.
