Desert Mind

Desert Mind is a band from Santa Fe New Mexico specializing in original music. Formed in 2022, their sound is a mix of deep, melodic and rhythmic Alt Rock with reflections of Americana, and Transcendental Desert Rock. Members of the band include Don Redondo whose primary instruments consist of the drums and bass and Antonio Dixon who writes, composes, plays guitar and does vocals. Desert Mind has experience performing in a variety of venues and can perform as a full band or as an acoustic set. 

Their second studio album “Flor” was released June 21st, 2023 and their song “Under the Stars” was nominated as a finalist in the 2024 New Mexico Music Awards under their “Modern Rock” category.

“Under A Puzzled Sun” is Desert Mind’s most recent and third studio album. Released on 12/21/2024, the songs on this album are about the human experience, nature and the universe. It is a reflection of the stories we tell ourselves and how we find our way.
