Rented Tuxedo

Rented Tuxedo plays all styles of chart-topping and forgotten music from the 1930s - 1950s. Imagine hearing Django Reinhardt, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, and surf rock in the same set and you get the idea. Kind of like an old timey Quentin Tarantino soundtrack. We also play originals written to sound vintage and get people moving. 

Our full lineup includes guitar, uke, piano, upright bass, drums, trombone and harmonica on songs like "Minor Swing," "Rebel Rouser," and "Jump in the Line." Our players include members of Tivoli Club Brass Band, Kerosene Ensemble, and Lost Dog Ensemble so you can count on us to be professional, entertaining, and flexible.
