Fort Collins African Drum and Dance Collective

We are a multigenerational, not-for-profit collective that brings people together through the powerful rhythms of primarily West African drumming, dance, and song. We are dedicated to learning, teaching, performing, and sharing what we love, driven by passion, joy, and deep respect for the cultural traditions we study.

We offer weekly community classes, vibrant public performances, and inclusive workshops with master artists and culture-bearers. We serve people of all ages and experience levels across Northern Colorado and beyond, creating spaces for intercultural exchange, connection, and celebration.

By honoring this music’s origins, supporting its artists, and inviting others to participate, we aim to build community through rhythm — and to move people in dance, in spirit, and in celebration of the cultures that inspire us.

Previously known as Falé, the Fort Collins African Drum and Dance Collective has been around since 2005.
