Take Me Home: A Tribute to John Denver

Take Me Home is a tribute to the music of John Denver. This project was started in 2021 by Ryan Lennartson, who has collaborated with Arvind Panjabi, Erin Youngberg, and Matthew Wilburn Skinner. Attendees are encouraged to listen or sing along to some of their favorite songs by John Denver. Other special local musicians will likely sit in during performances. Take Me Home performs classic versions of John Denver’s songs, and explores some unique styles with his hits, as well as less familiar songs. We honor one of the great songwriters in history to fill up your senses and come home to the place you’ve never been before…but where you belong.
