Sarah Adams and her bandmates share a deep connection through their passion for music that speaks to the soul. Hailing from different parts of the U.S., Sarah and her band first came together in 2022 when Sarah moved to Denver and set out to find the perfect musicians to bring her vision to life. After scouring the local music scene for talented, kind-hearted individuals, she found exactly what she was looking for in Chad Irish, Elliott Miller, and John Baldwin. Together, they create a unique sound that seamlessly transitions from high-energy folk rock to heartfelt Americana ballads.

Sarah Adams - Lead Vocals & Rhythm Guitar

Originally from South Carolina, Sarah Adams is the powerhouse behind this team. Influenced by artists like Brandi Carlile, Eva Cassidy, and Sara Bareilles, Sarah’s music cracks you wide open. With warmth and tenacity, she commands the stage—whether she’s singing original melodies, strumming her acoustic guitar, or telling touching stories between songs. Sarah’s lyrics dive deep—exploring everything from the magic of the kids she nannies, to the challenges of making art in a capitalist world, from the joy of living her truth as a queer artist, to the liberation of shedding perfectionism. Sarah connects with her audience in a way that is truly special.  

Chad Irish - Drums & Vocals
Chad Irish is the heartbeat of the band, holding down the rhythm whether he’s on a hand percussion setup of his own design or behind a full drum kit. With a diverse background spanning jazz, rock, marching band, and singer/songwriter duos, Chad’s versatility elevates every song with the perfect rhythmic texture and occasional vocal harmony. Originally from Duluth, Minnesota, Chad first crossed paths with Sarah at a Denver open mic where he was captivated by her performance of "Free My Soul." Instantly sold on the connection, Chad knew he had to play with her. Sarah was equally impressed by Chad’s skill and taste on the hand percussion, and the two began performing as a duo before expanding their lineup.

Elliott Miller - Lead Guitar & Vocals
Next up is Elliott Miller, the lead guitarist and eternal optimist who brings both fiery solos and rich harmonies to the stage. A Michigan native, Elliott met Sarah when they both played the same local Denver show after recently moving to town. The two immediately recognized their similar styles and knew they had to collaborate. Elliott’s dynamic guitar work and vibrant presence help define the band’s sound, whether he’s making his guitar scream or harmonizing with Sarah.

John Baldwin - Bass & Vocals
Holding down the bottom end is John Baldwin, the bassist who brings both rock-solid foundation and a dry sense of humor to the band’s dynamic. Like Sarah, John is from South Carolina, but they didn’t meet until they both landed in Denver, where they connected at an open mic. Known for his impeccable bass lines, intricate harmonies, and sense of humor, John is the steady force in the band. When he's not playing, you can catch him biking around the city – he's well known as the "bikes and bass man."

Sarah and her bandmates approach their music with infectious joy and a shared belief in the power of music to unite people. For them, it’s more than just a performance – it’s a calling. They're eager to bring their art to the world, and they can’t wait to share it with you!
