DCI Tour
DCI Tour is a social impact artist collective that empowers independent BIPOC creatives through art-based immersive experiences, offering songwriting workshops, performances, community activations, and artistic consultation. Co-founded in 2018 by Destiny Hardney and Wayne Watts, DCI Tour uses a combination of mindfulness practices and musical artistry to foster collective healing, social connection, and liberation.
DCI Tour cultivates vibrant spaces for BIPOC creatives to connect and thrive. Their ongoing initiative, Dream Flow, is a series of small business meet-ups that utilize music, collaborative songwriting, and mindfulness practices to foster collaboration and cultural understanding. Held at community hubs like Lawrence + Larimer, Endless Grind Coffee, and That Friend's House, these gatherings provide access to holistic development and artistic opportunities.
DCI Tour also produces "By Any Dream Necessary," a recurring visual mixtape experience showcasing local BIPOC artists and fostering cultural exchange through immersive blends of live music and visuals. This mixtape series has been shown in Baltimore, Denver, Memphis, and Atlanta.
DCI Tour enriches Colorado's arts and culture scene through diverse collaborations. They've energized audiences with electrifying halftime performances for the Denver Nuggets and created immersive musical experiences at Meow Wolf and the Denver Art Museum. Their expertise has also been sought out by Colorado State University Athletics for creative consultation and by Sofar Sounds and Sony Electronics for live music recordings.
