Dan Harris
Dan Harris, a singer and songwriter from Vermont, began his musical journey at the age of four when he learned to play Hank Williams' "Hey Good Lookin'" from his father. This early exposure to classic country tunes sparked a lifelong passion for music, leading him to explore a wide variety of genres, from classical and jazz guitar to singing the timeless songs of Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash. Over the years, Dan has honed his craft as a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, developing a sound that is both deeply personal and rooted in Americana tradition.
Now based in the Front Range of Colorado, Dan channels his diverse musical influences into his acoustic performances, blending bluegrass, folk, and country. His heartfelt songs and skillful playing have earned him recognition in the local music scene, with notable performances at the prestigious Rocky Mountain Folks Festival. Beyond his work as a performer, Dan is also a skilled luthier, handcrafting guitars and mandolins—a testament to his dedication to both the art and the craft of music.
Dan recently completed his debut album, Hotdogs and Chardonnay, a collection of 13 original and cover songs that reflect his journey from New England to the Rocky Mountains. The album captures the essence of his experiences, blending nostalgia, humor, and heartfelt emotion in a way that resonates with listeners.
