Alive at Nine

Alive at Nine is a four piece alt rock band that is half Fort Collins and half Denver based. Mateo (guitar and vocals) and Micki (lead vocals) met and formed the band as an acoustic duo in March of 2023. The duo were frequenters of Fort Collins open mics, especially at venues such as the Lyric and the Atrium. Later that year Lachlan (bass) and Zay (drums) joined the band. Alive at Nine's first gig as a full band was at Mercury Cafe in October of 2023, and since then, the band has played at venues like Lost Lake, Larimer Lounge, Skylark Lounge, The Sunspot, and more. The songs that Alive at Nine performs are typically a balance of vocally challenging ballads with emotional lyrics, and lighthearted songs to dance to. At its core, Alive at Nine is a project that celebrates the group's friendship with each other, and shares experiences and emotions through music. Some of the bands that influence and inspire Alive at Nine are Paramore, Hot Mulligan, Green Day, and Silverstein.
