Kind Dub

Kind Dub is more than a music project—it’s a creative force rooted in community, collaboration, and culture. Established in 2013, Kind Dub carved out a distinct voice in independent hip-hop through a relentless work ethic, a commitment to meaningful art, and high-energy live performances.

That dedication earned them the opportunity to share stages with many of their favorite national touring artists, including People Under The Stairs, Hieroglyphics, Chali 2na, Living Legends, Zion-I, Grouch & Eligh, Murs, Arrested Development, Pharoahe Monch, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Immortal Technique, Nappy Roots, Rhymesayers, Masta Ace, and more.

Live performance sits at the core of Kind Dub’s identity. From New York to California, they’ve played close to 250 shows—including over 20 festivals—building real connections with audiences along the way. Kind Dub has spent much of the last decade involved with FoCoMX, playing the festival many times and appreciating the role it plays in bringing the local and regional music community together.

Their shows blend thought-provoking lyrics, hard-hitting beats, and guitar-driven energy that keeps crowds moving. Kind Dub has performed at many of Colorado’s most iconic venues, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, The Mishawaka, Fillmore Auditorium, Belly Up Aspen, Aggie Theatre, Levitt Pavilion, Cervantes’ Masterpiece, The Fox Theatre, Animas City Theatre, and The Black Sheep.

In 2017, they launched Colorado Come Up, a community-driven hip-hop movement dedicated to collaboration, growth, and artist development. Through their creative work, Kind Dub has helped independent Colorado labels earn music video awards—continuing their commitment to lifting the scene as they grow within it.

Outside of the stage and studio, Kind Dub also works through their video company, Manifest Filmworks, creating videos for businesses, brands, nonprofits, and fellow artists. Whether it’s documenting live events, telling real stories, or helping bands and organizations get their message out, the focus is always on supporting the people and communities behind the work. Through this lens, they’ve enjoyed helping capture and promote FoCoMX over the years and collaborating with the 53:14 Music Video Experiment.
