Adon Biggs

Adon Adonai Randall Biggs is a vibrant musician, bassist, composer, and educator who captivates audiences with his distinctive sound and dynamic performances. A Los Angeles native, Adon joined the USMC in 2016 after graduating from California State University, Long Beach. Serving with Camp Lejeune's 2d Marine Band, Sgt. Biggs led and performed in ensembles like the 2d Marine Jazz Combo, Wind Ensemble, and Division Brass Band. This led to notable performances for events such as the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Belleau Wood (Belleau, France), the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo (Halifax, Canada), and both the New York and Boston St. Paddy's Parades.

After completing his service in 2020, Adon moved to Denver, CO, to pursue graduate studies at the University of Denver's acclaimed Lamont School of Music. While at Lamont, he studied with renowned musicians such as Bijoux Barbosa, Remy Le Beouf, Annie Booth, Zach Rich, and Art Bouton. During his studies, he performed at events like Denver's penultimate 5 Points Jazz Festival, the Denver Center for Performance Art's inaugural run of "Miss Rhythm - The Legend of Ruth Brown," and earned honor awards at the 2024 UNC Greeley Jazz Festival. 

Since completing his Masters’ in Jazz Performance and Composition in 2024, Adon Biggs has built a dynamic career rooted in education, musical theater, and regular performances across the local jazz and festival circuit. Most recently, Adon was awarded “Best in Show - Music” for the Rocky Mountain Regional Creative Arts Festival held by the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System. As a winner, he hopes to represent the Rocky Mountains at the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival in 2026. With his energy now centered on the release of his debut album in 2026, Adon Biggs is looking forward to sharing the future of his music with colorful Colorado.
