Drawing inspiration from a variety of genres, The Violet Pines aren’t easily boxed in, and that’s on purpose. Since forming in 2023, Drummer - Blake McFarland, Bassist - Grant McFarland, Electric Guitarist - Danny Allen and Rhythm Guitarist/Vocalist - Clayton Yeazle have leaned into their different musical backgrounds, choosing to make exploration their driving force. Meaningful songwriting and thoughtful composition are always at the core of their sound, it’s just the expression that changes. Whether it’s a groovy feel-good bop, an emotional rock ballad, or a funk jam that you can’t help but dance to, this high-energy group from Grand Junction puts their all into every song they play.
