Tinderdust
Tinderdust is an electronic musician and audio-visual performance artist from the United Kingdom.She has performed her music in London for 17 years. Growing up in Singapore, music was her only salvation, giving her a dream to believe in. Hearing bands like Radiohead and Blur from a radio station in the Far East, filled her spirit with excitement, and inspired her to move to the UK,to follow her dreams of forging a career in music.Throughout her career she has performed in 3 bands; Junkstar, BlackMoon1348,and Tinderdust.Her music has been featured on multiple British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) radio stations, used in TV series, recommended in magazines such as Time Out London, and published in books. Junkstar’s music has been featured on BBC TV series, BlackMoon1348 was placed on the shortlist to support Radiohead on tour, and Tinderdust’s holographic music performance debuted at the highly esteemed Royal Academy of Arts in London.
Adeline started her music career in Junkstar in 2006. Junkstar were a London based band,with their music released on Genepool / Universal Records.Their song ‘Going Nowhere’ was recorded with ‘Noodle’ from the band, Gorillaz, and used in BBC3 TV series,‘Ideal’.
Adeline co-founded BlackMoon1348. BlackMoon1348 performed on the main stage at Crystal Palace Garden Party in 2013. Previous performers at the festival included Pink Floyd, Brian Eno, Jimmi Henrix, and Bob Marley.BlackMoon1348 toured the UK with exiled Tibetan monks in 2017.All their London shows on this tour were sold out.They were interviewed on BBC Radio 6,and performed live and interviewed on NTS Radio.
BlackMoon1348 was written about in the book, Monolithic Undertow by Harry Sword.It was published in 2020 by Jack White from The White Stripes label,Third Man Books.It received rave reviews from musician, Beck, and a 4.5/5 star rating on Amazon UK. BlackMoon1348 were placed on the support bands shortlist to open for Radiohead on their 2016 tour.
Tinderdust utilises cutting edge immersive technologies to push boundaries of live music performances. Her production, The Forest of Phantasmagorias, incorporates forefront holographic technologies to create an immersive experience for audiences. Tinderdust has incorporated the award winning Holo-Gauze screen in her performances.The Holo-Gauze has been used by Beyonce and Lady Gaga at their Grammy Awards performances.Tinderdust debuted her holographic performance at the Royal Academy of Arts in London in 2017. She had subsequent headliner performances at Watermans Arts Centre’s Digital Weekender Festival,and sold out performances at VAULT Festival and Ugly Duck Gallery. Tinderdust was featured thrice in Time Out magazine, with her performance named as ‘Top Thing To Do’ in London in 2018.
In 2022, Tinderdust performed at Studio 9294 in London at Penumbra. Penumbra featured international musicians who incorporated immersive audio-visuals into their live performances.Tinderdust performed at the event alongside highly acclaimed electronic musician, Tarik Barri, who collaborates and performs with Radiohead and Thom Yorke. Tinderdust performed at The University of Wyoming Planetarium in 2023.Her visuals were projected onto a 180 degree dome,creating a truly immersive live music experience. In 2025 Tinderdust performed at The Snow Train Music Festival in downtown Laramie, and Buzz Festival at The University of Wyoming.
