Heady Hooligan

Heady Hooligan is a Colorado based musician from Carbondale Colorado in the Roaring Fork Valley.  His music blends electronic dance grooves with ambient synth sweeps, meditative guitar lines and funky dance beats; cultivating a danceable space funk party. 

He utilizes analog synths and live sequencing to create elements of hip-hop, jazz, funk and ambient bliss. The guitar grooves take off in his live shows, along with a variety of vocal samples and playful improvisation. A long time fan and musician in the Colorado music scene, McMillan helped found Denver based band, Vine Street Vibes in 2012 and created various musical projects on Colorado’s front range throughout the 2010’s. With influences including STS9, Lotus, J Dilla, Daft Punk, and Tycho- Heady Hooligan brings those elements to his own music and adds a unique guitar style for a funky interplanetary treat for both human and animatronic listeners.
