East Side of 2nd
East Side of 2nd is one of Saskatchewan’s fastest-rising rock ’n’ roll bands a high-energy group built on two sets of brothers and a whole lot of grit. Formed in Prince Albert in late 2024, the band has already built a reputation for packed rooms, electric stage presence, and a throwback sound that feels both vintage and brand new.
Led by Aiden Edwards (vocals/rhythm guitar), alongside Logan Edwards (harmonica/vocals), Kace Callaghan (lead guitar), Blake Callaghan (bass), and Evan Ace (drums), East Side of 2nd blends rockabilly, 50s/60s rock and roll, and modern indie energy into a live show that gets every crowd dancing.
In just their first year, the band has hit major stages including the Ness Creek Music Festival, Living Skies Music Fest, Rock the Ville, Sunnyside May Long Throwdown, Waskesiu Canada Day, Melfort Fair, WayneStock (AB), and more — often drawing 100+ person crowds purely off word of mouth. Their debut single, “Splash of Morgan,” quickly caught local radio attention, and their upcoming 2025 release “Oh Baby” expands their growing catalog of originals that blend nostalgia with punch.
With a tight brotherhood chemistry on stage, East Side of 2nd is becoming known as the band that turns any festival slot into a party. Whether it’s a lakeside beach show or a late-night festival crowd, their sets are built for dancing, shouting, and unforgettable moments.
