Folk troubadour Marilyn Walker has been described as “John Prine meets Winnie the Pooh.” Marilyn’s career as a scientist informs her lyrics, with fun songs about blueberries, octopi, divine canines, and the fungus among us, with a light-hearted touch and an enormous sense of humor. Her serious side is as deep as her funny side is high, as she covers topics from homelessness to climate change to human trafficking, and deeply personal topics about the pain and challenges of life and death on a rapidly changing planet.
