Sirona Isle

Sirona Isle writes love songs for the high mountains and
expansive deserts of the American West. Raised in Utah
and Montana, Sirona tells truths about the cultural and
material realities of western culture, honoring the
traditions she was raised in, while pushing against the
ways that harm is perpetuated against the land and
people in those traditions and reaching for a different
way forward. Sirona’s debut LP, Mouth of the
Mountain, speaks both to the love and care she has for
her home, as well as the depth of pain and grief she has
found there. It is this tension between fostering the light
and characterizing the shadow that Sirona channels in
her writing and playing.
