Last Call Romance
Last Call Romance delivers a modern take on a mid-century sound. Think: Indie Bluesy-swing or, Chris Isaak and Shirley Manson have a baby with the Squirrel Nut Zippers.
Their newly released album: Double Funeral Volume 2, was recorded at the legendary, GRAMMY WINNING STUDIO: THE BLASTING ROOM, with GRAMMY-NOMINATED PRODUCER: ANDREW BERLIN producing and mixing, and GRAMMY-NOMINATED JASON LIVERMORE mastering.
Hailing from Northern Colorado, Tabitha Hernandez of the Examiner.com described their performance as, “A sound straight from days past... this band sang original hits and had the audience cutting a rug; the masses bee-bopped and jived away to the beats." The band has played all over the Front Range and internationally in the U.K.. Duncan, of Scene magazine wrote, "Their old-meets-new style of putting a modern twist on retro-inspired sounds and themes has made them a memorable standout in the music scene here and respected by their musician peers."
The band has played numerous shows and festivals in Colorado, California, and Oklahoma, and the U.K.. Notable performances include the UMS festival, the Rockabilly Expo, KRFC events and Radio Shows, Hot Rod Shows, various Summer Concert Series, the KRCC WhatIF festival in Colorado Springs, FoCoMX, CSU’s stadium opening, WoodyFest in Oklahoma, and the Bohemian Nights NewWest Festivals in Fort Collins. The band was also accepted to the prestigious SpokesBUZZ incubator program. They had the honor of playing the oldest Rockabilly festival in the U.K., the Hemsby Rock n’ Roll Weekender.
