waxpool

waxpool is a band from Denver, colorado. What started as a solo project turned into a
full band within the span of a few months. Consisting of Elijah Whelchel (vocals/guitar), Jack Salyers (bass) and Yara Kaadan (drums), the band is making "the type of slow-crush music that’s perfect for long car rides to nowhere in particular, the types of drives that allow the mind and soul to wander" (Westword, 2026). With their first few releases as a band under their belt, waxpool is continuing to dive deeper into their own sound. The group released their debut EP “i love it here” on May 29, 2026.
