waxpool is a band from Denver, CO. What started as a solo project turned into a band within the span of a few months. Consisting of Elijah Whelchel (vocals/guitar) and Jack Salyers (bass) at the core, the band has been called "Denver's latest indie rock band you need to know" (Westword). With their first few releases as a band under their belt, waxpool is continuing to dive deeper into their own sound. The group's debut EP i love it here was released on May 29th 2026.
