Corners of the Sky

Corners of the Sky" is a psychedelic garage rock band hailing from Kansas City, based for a while in Lawrence. Revered locally for energetic performances and a bombastic stage presence, the four young musicians are slowly building a loyal following, frequently gigging around the greater KC/Lawrence area. "COTS" (acronym) innovates improvisational elements in each song, known as "the jammy bit," where the song breaks away for a while before diving back into the main melody and ending it off. The individual members take it a step further, showcasing unique alterations/inventions for their instruments, one such example being the lead singer's microphone, constructed with parts from an old telephone.
