Woodshop Project
Woodshop Project is a three-piece original rock bank based in Denver, Colorado, featuring Jon Reitan (drums and voals), Chuck Bufmack (bass and vocals), and Rob Matuschek (guitar and vocals). Each member has been performing music since high school. The trio began playing together with other musicians in 2005 under various names and at a variety of venues, ultimately solidifying as Woodshop Project in 2016.
Having established careers in the Denver area that support both creative and personal balance, the band brings a sound that is both energetic and thoughtful. Their lyrics reflect the full spectrum of human experience—falling in love, growing older, missed opportunities, enduring hope, and the promise of new beginnings. Life’s joys and struggles form the thematic backbone of their music, echoing timeless human dilemmas through a contemporary rock lens.
Over the past decade, the band has practiced in three different professional wood shops, spaces that have nurtured their creativity and spirit. Woodshop Project has recorded 24 original songs with Module Overload, released across three eight-track albums: One (red, 2021), Two (green, 2022), and Tree (blue, 2024). Their songwriting process is deeply collaborative, with each member contributing to both the music and lyrics.
